What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is a bodywork technique aimed specifically at people who take regular exercise or engage in a professional sport. It can help competitors to recover from competing; it can even help prevent you getting injured in the first place. The way in which the massage is carried out and the pressure that is applied will depend on the muscle being treated and what effect you want to achieve.
